“Dry toilets and composting” with Rodrigo Silva

"Dry Toilets and Composting" is an educational and practical workshop, lasting approximately 45 minutes, aimed at the general public. The workshop is divided into two parts: a classroom presentation session (approximately 25 minutes), covering topics such as the functioning of dry toilets, their ecological and water benefits, the composting process, and the agricultural use of compost; and a guided tour of the dry toilets and urinals installed on the beach during the festival (approximately 20 minutes), with a practical demonstration and time for questions.
The workshop is led by Rodrigo Silva, founder of Organic Phenomena, a company specializing in dry toilets and urinals based on Madeira Island.
