Professor Inácio Silva is a leading figure in the educational, cultural, and civic life of Ponta do Sol, with a career deeply dedicated to teaching and public service. A Music Education teacher for over 40 years, he has influenced generations of students, not only through artistic training but also through the transmission of values such as rigor, discipline, and respect for culture.
At the same time, he has stood out in promoting local culture, particularly through his connection to the Casa do Povo da Ponta do Sol, where he promoted the School of Music and various initiatives. He also served in municipal positions for over 15 years, as a councilor and vice-president of the City Council, contributing to areas such as Education, Culture, and Social Action.
He will be the speaker at the opening session of the Aqui Acolá Festival, a moment that reflects the recognition of his career and his contribution to the community.
